SS2-All 304 Stainless Steel ERD Electric Actuator withIP67 and Motor Protection
The all 304 stainless steel ERD electric actuatorhas an IP67 rating (static) that includes a protective motor enclosure. The SS2 stainless steel actuator version of the ERD Electric Actuator is built-to-order in stroke lengths up to 12 inches.

HYG1 Hygienic Bracket/Wiper Option for ERD25 and ERD30 Actuators
The HYG1 option for ERD25 and ERD30 actuator retains a IP69K ingress protection rating (static) in applications where the actuators are within product or splash contact in a product contact zone and are mounted horizontally. For vertically mounted application in these types of food processing applications, shielding must be provided to catch contaminants. 1ERD25 & ERD30 electric cylinders are USDA approved for meat (livestock), poultry, and dairy food processing applications.
2 HYG1 option is required for all meat (livestock), poultry and dairy food processing applications where ERD actuators and/or mounting hardware is used near product or in a product contact zone where the thrust rod and rod end of the actuator are on or over product or a product contact zone.
