New and improved features for MacTalk

 

• MacTalk has been brushed up and has a more modern look over the older version. However all the known menus and controls are kept.
  
• Communication shortcut for a fast change between serial communication and Ethernet communiation.
• Language support US/UK and German, more languages will be supported in the future.
• Connect to the motor using Ethernet for both wired Ethernet Bus systems and motors equipped with wireless WLAN modules (MAC00-EW4 for MAC-motors or MIS34 –Quickstep series).
• New improved scope feature for MAC400-3000, now with 8 channels and prolonged sampling time. Sampling time up to several years is possible. The scope data can be saved in different file formats for analysis. Many trigger options are possible to trace a certain situation more accurately.
• RxP programming for the basis motor MAC400-3000 has been on the market for a couple of years. Now it is possible to password protect the program against copy- and tampering.
• JVL is supporting many different Ethernet BUS technologies, EtherCat, EthernetIP, ProfiNet, PowerLink, ModbusTCP and Sercos all these technologies are supported in MacTalk and a handfull of them offers MacTalk connection over a standard Ethernet network. EtherCat offers EOE for the MacTalk connection.
• Error logging for MIS34x –series in case an error is flaggedit is logged and displayed in MacTalk with a timestamp. This way the accurate time of the event can be determined. The MIS34x has an total runtimer that keeps track with the total poweron time of the motor. A log displayes the amount of times the different errors has happened and a history log displays the last 20 error events that has happened along with a timestamp. This feature will also be available for the MAC-motor series in near future.
