Improved Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen Modules

Obtain faster and more reliable communication with improved Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen communication with modules for integrated servo motors
JVL has now sold integrated motors with Profibus, CANopen and DeviceNet modules for many years for MAC Motors. The request for these modules has increased drastically during the years.
To meet some of the requirements from our customers we decided to change the bus communication between the modules and the motors so it becomes more reliable and faster.
Before we used a JVL communication standard called FlexMac/FastMac between the motors and the modules and this is still possible for MAC050-141 and MAC400-800. To send a new position, velocity or acceleration it takes around 15-20 ms and it is not possible to both read and write at the same time with Profibus.
Together with MAC050-141 and MAC400-3000 it is now also possible to use ModBus between the motor and the modules which gives at least 10 times increase of communication speed and it has also become possible to both read and write with one command when using Profibus.
